GROUP THERAPY

At EMERGE, we believe in the power of group therapy to facilitate social and emotional growth and learning. Groups increase connection with others, reduce stigma and are a safe place to land when life gets hard. Over time, group members become a trusted resource to turn to for guidance and support.

ADOLESCENT GROUPS

Adolescents are more lonely now than ever before.  And group therapy can be a powerful way of making connections and feeling less isolated.  As social relationships have added importance in adolescence, group therapy offers an opportunity to work on relationship skills with other group members and develop a support system to deal with all the challenges of adolescent life.

EMERGING ADULT GROUPS

Emerging adulthood is a stage of life between the ages of 18 and 29 that is characterized by the exploration of new identities in the shift from adolescence to adulthood.  Within a sense of great possibilities ahead, it can also be a time of increasing responsibility, pressure and uncertainty.

ADULT GROUPS

Adults at various stages of life come together to share, grow and learn together.  Groups can be centered around on specific topics/themes or have a more general focus on the variety of issues that adults encounter.  Through our similarities and differences, we grow from relating together and understanding each other.
